Construction Department of Danang has made a letter advising the chairman of the People’s Committee to fine investors 7 Seven Sea Hotel amount VND614 million.
On November 28, Le Van Tuan, Chief Inspector of Da Nang Construction Department, confirmed that the Department has made a document advising the City People’s Committee to fine 7 Seven Sea hotel amounted to VND614 million by building a floor over design.
Specifically, 7 Seven Sea Hotel (Vo Nguyen Giap road, Son Tra district) is licensed under the design of 18 floors, a basement. However, the investor is Ly Bang Trade Service Co., Ltd (head office: Lot 150 Vo Nguyen Giap Street) for building up to 19 storeys. The hotel was put into operation.

“The incident was discovered at the end of 2016. At that time the work had some items in violation and the owner was punished administrative violation. Then, from November 20 to 2017, the Department discovered some items of violation and was fined additional administrative, “- said Tuan.
Mr. Tuan said: There are some items proposed dismantling, some items in accordance with architectural planning should report the TP allowed to survive. The items allowed to exist, pursuant to Clause 9, Article 13 of Decree 121, shall be subject to additional penalty for illegal gain. Specifically here is 50% of the value of use.
The total value of the additional building permit to survive is over VND1.2 billion. From there, the additional penalty is VND 614 million.
