(+84) 898 898 688Reported at the conference, Le Van Duc, director of the Hanoi Department of Construction, said that in the first eight months of 2018, the management team of urban construction districts, towns have conducted 100 inspections % of construction works (15,299 works) and violation records 824 cases (5.39% of the total). Compared with the same period in 2017, the number of violations decreased 51.27% (down 867 cases).
Remarkably, the functional forces discovered 287 cases of unauthorized construction (down 55.57%) and construction on agricultural land was 308 cases (down 55.81% over the same period).
Regarding the results of handling 132 cases of ultra-thin, distorted backlog from previous years, Mr Duc said that as of April 2018, the city handled 12 cases; Approved block architectural façade with clown works or conditional licensing, ensuring not to cause aversion or loss of urban beauty in 88 cases.
The city continues to handle and recover for public purposes for 32 unqualified cases. As for 552 cases of houses, land super thin, distortion formed after the implementation of traffic projects from 2013 to now, the city has solved 493 works, reaching nearly 90%.
Currently, the city is continuing to handle 59 cases and is expected to complete in 2018.
Prior to that, in 2017, the inspection teams of the district, town inspected all construction works (17,422 works) and discovered 1,916 violations. People’s committees at commune and district levels have settled 1,517 works; Issued 1,740 decisions on sanctioning administrative violations with a total amount of over VND 12.2 billion.
Also at the conference, report on the results of environmental protection, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Trong Dong said in the first 6 months of 2018, the state management agencies on environment in the area. The city inspected and inspected 681 establishments and handled 159 administrative violations with the total amount of VND5.1 billion.
