Currently, the US Embassy in Hanoi is located at two locations: the main office at 7 Lang Ha, and the headquarters at Rose Garden, 170 Ngoc Khanh.
In 2008 Ambassador Michael Michalak, at a press briefing, said for the first time that the two sides were prepared to finalize a land position agreement to build a new embassy in Hanoi.
