The project of Cat Linh urban railway – Ha Dong

As noted by VietnamFinance, at present most of the stations with electric escalators on the Cat Linh – Ha Dong urban railway are only protected by contractors, with temporary shelter covered by large canvas.

Cat Linh – Ha Dong Railway is one of the projects that attract a great deal of people, because of its importance to the capital. This is a work of scale, requiring high precision, strict construction.

However, in fact, the project has left many problems in the construction process such as slow progress, stagnant construction during the past 10 years, capital, unsafe construction. …

According to Vu Hong Phuong – Deputy Director (in charge) of the Railway Management Board (Ministry of Transport), the entire route has basically completed the construction, reaching over 96%. Some construction items are being completed in the period after the complete installation of specialized equipment. In addition, 95% of the equipment has been installed and nearly 80% of the equipment has been installed, including some of the major equipment related to the train control system.

It is going to be put into operation, but now many items of the railway project on Cat Linh – Ha Dong are still in disorder, messy, especially the stairs walk and escalator up and down.

Under the stairs up and down the station at the Lang road is the wooden panels, packages, bags of construction materials lying around, causing aesthetics for the surrounding area.

Recording at the station in Ha Dong revealed that sandwiches, plastic bags and small wooden boxes were thrown on the pedestrian corridors.

Another terminal has an unfinished staircase, not even a handrail. In order to prevent people from entering the terminal, the contractor has only temporary shielding with a large pressed board

Another inadequacies have also been pointed out is that the sewer system on the top of the design is not reasonable because of the discharge directly to the side road, where there are many means of frequent travel

In the latest document, the Railway Project Management Board (Ministry of Transport) has requested in writing the general contractor not to put people on board the Cat Linh urban railway – Ha Dong to ensure security , safe project.

Previously, on August11, electronic newspapers and social networks have reflected the people participate in the trial trains Cat Linh – Ha Dong.

According to the general contractor’s report, on August 11th, this unit organized trade union activities at the headquarter to mobilize emulation and motivate staffs to strive to complete the annual plan and objectives of the project.

To motivate employees with the results of construction has been achieved in the past, the general contractor voluntarily invited staff members and relatives join the ride on the train.
