Invested VND 2,510 billion for Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway project to Sa Pa

The two-lane investment project will be rehabilitated with the length of 29.203 km (starting point: Km108, belonging to Sa Pa town, ending point: Km137 + 055 in Lao Cai city) The To build provincial road 155 connecting Sa Pa with Lao Cai in parallel with 4D national highway with the length of 25.003 km (the beginning point: Km0 + 00 corresponding to the intersection between Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway and national highway 4D at Km135 + 940; end at Km25 + 003.74, with 4D at Km105).

According to the plan, National Highway 4D section from Km108 to Km137 + 055 base on the current road, Local section Km118 + 055 to Km119 + 930 newly built to the provincial road 155 (area Mong bridge Km10 + 863 to Km9 + 750). Provincial Road No. 155: To build a new road in the direction of the provincial road 155 in line with the province’s transport infrastructure planning, with the grade-IV mountain road.

The project is invested in the form of public-private partnership (PPP), type of BOT contract. The total investment capital of the project is VND 2,510 billion divided into 2 phases: Phase I (2018 – 2020); Phase II (after 2020).

From 2018 to the end of 2020, to carry out site clearance and investment in the construction of provincial road 155 from Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway (at km0, equivalent to Km135 + 900, national highway 4D) to Km13 + 800, connecting to National Highway 4D at Km117 + 550 (including Mong Sen bridge and two-way bridge) with a length of 13.8 km. After 2020, to implement phase II of the project; Complete the entire route according to the project size.
