New Mien Dong Bus Station will operate from 1/2019

A representative of SAMCO said that the new Mien Dong Bus Station will be completed by the end of December to put into operation in the first quarter of 2016.

In the early time of operation, some routes between Ho Chi Minh City and northern provinces will be relocated from the old Mien Dong Bus Station (Binh Thanh District).

New Eastern Bus Station was built in the area of ​​more than 16 ha in Binh Thang ward, Di An town, Binh Duong province and Long Binh ward, District 9, HCMC. This is an area located on the Hanoi Highway, next to the metro station 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien), connecting many types of traffic such as metro, BRT (fast bus), intercity bus is located in Dong Nai, Binh Duong.

The bus stop at the new bus station will span over 2,000 square meters, including more than 100 bus stops and bus stops for about 14 bus routes. In addition, the bus station will arrange more transfer vehicles, taxis and other types of transport to best serve the needs of passengers and goods.

New Eastern Bus Station will be operated according to the model studied, referring from the modern car terminals of Korea, Japan, … combine science and technology to manage. Specifically, the application of link management software, including vehicle management software for landing (connected to Vietnam Road Administration). Main (connected with SAMCO), online ticketing software, payment services in many forms: direct, POS payment …, human resources management software and office software death

New Eastern Bus Station is expected to use the smartphone App settings to provide maximum convenience for customers to look up information and to use the services of the Bus Station (including find the route, departure time, number of trips, fare, ticket reservation, booking, …)
