District 6 will adjust the local zoning plan scale 1/2000 and publicize to the public.

On October 19, HCMC People’s Committee has assigned People’s Committee of District 6 to adjust the local zoning plan rate of 1/2000 in the planning area in the district and publicly announce to the people after when the local adjustments of this plan are approved.

Authorities will propose mechanisms and policies to facilitate the investment attraction of urban development projects as well as policies on management of houses and land in the planned area in order to limit the image. Affect the rights and legitimate interests of communities in the planning area.

District 6 is a suburban district, southwest of Ho Chi Minh City with a total natural area of 7.14 sqm. According to the dossier of adjustment of general planning in District 6, the total planning area of the whole district is 714.46 hectares.

In particular, the area of civil land is 692 ha. In addition, there are 17.78 hectares of other lands in the residential area. The land for civil use includes 9.3 hectares of land, 12.49 hectares of canals, and 29.16 hectares of external transportation.

District 6 is planning to develop urban space into 4 zones. 1, 3, 4, 7, 8. Ward 3 consists of wards 12, 13, 14. wards 10 and 11 are the areas where new residential areas are built and new areas are built into mixed ones, including residential, commercial and service facilities, public works offices and greenhouses.

The main roads such as Kinh Duong Vuong Street, Hau Giang Street, Hung Vuong Street, East-West Highway … have the main road axis. The urban railway system is expected to have line 3a according to Hung Vuong Street – Kinh Duong Vuong … Line No. 6 crosses Tan Hoa Road to connect Phu Lam.

Along with Binh Tan, District 6 is also becoming a hot spot for real estate in the western part of HCMC. A number of projects have been built by the developers.
