The leaders of the People’s Committee of the city also asked the concerned units to plan the relocation of religious establishments in this urban area (Thu Thiem Church, Thu Thiem Lovers’ Church) as well as the recovery of Thu Thiem primary school to hand over the construction of riverside and riverside parks on schedule.

Thu Thiem Urban Area is located on Thu Thiem Peninsula, District 2, opposite District 1 via Saigon River, with a total area of ​​657 hectares. The peninsula is expected to become a financial and commercial hub of international stature expected to be the most beautiful urban area in Southeast Asia.
