Bau Hien: Hang Day stadium will be extended towards Cat Linh

Sharing with the press about the renovation Hang Daystadium, Mr. Do Quang Hien (Tuan Hien) – Chairman of the Board of T & T Group Corporation, said “The current condition of the yard will also be open wide toward the Cat Linh Road, the land of the Department of Planning and Investment.

According to Mr. Hien, Hang Dieu Stadium will no longer be a simple football field but also integrates many other functional areas.

Specifically, “the stadium will have four basements, the second floor will be a lawn, above the covered stands with a capacity of about twenty thousand spectators. The existing courtyards will also be expanded to Cat Linh Street, the land of the Department of Planning and Investment, “Hien said.

It is expected that the Hang Diem stadium will have a capacity of 20,000 spectators

Last March, T & T signed a memorandum of cooperation with French construction group Bouygues.

T & T will work with Bouygues to invest up to € 250 million ($ 307 million) in stadiums.

Bau Hien hopes to cooperate with a big name like Bouygues will help T & T turn Hang Dieu into a modern stadium with beautiful architecture of international stature.

Previously, on February 9, 2017, the Standing Committee of Hanoi has agreed with the Party Committee of the City People’s Committee on the pilot assignment of T & T Group Corporation to manage, use and operate Hang Day stadium.
