BOT’s investor in  Thai Nguyen – Moi Market continues to appeal to the Ministry of Transport

BOT’s investor in  Thai Nguyen – Cho Lien Cienco 4 – Tuan Loc – Truong Loc have requested the Ministry of Transport to request service fees in QL3 or the State to buy the project at VND2,775 billion.

Related to BOT Thai Nguyen – Moi Market project and upgrade and expand QL3 Km75-Km100, the consortium of investors Cienco 4 – Tuan Loc – Truong Loc has proposed two options proposed Ministry of Transport ( Transportation) to apply for a fee at Bo Dau station.

Option 1: The Ministry of Transport has the solution for project enterprises to collect additional road service charges at Km77 + 922.5 QL3 as agreed in the signed project contract.

For this project, the partnership has issued the investment period in May 2018, the service prices have been agreed with the local. Remarkably, for option 1, the period of collecting price will increase 1 year 3 months to 17 years 4 months compared with the signed contract.

Option 2: The consortium announced that the state bought the project at VND2,775 billion (excluding VAT), which is expected to be paid once in January 2019.

According to this partnership, the value of the above-mentioned projects includes the total actual investment expenses, interest paid to banks and profits of investors after the construction period, investors’ profits during the construction period , the operating costs of the project enterprise and other costs incurred.

“Currently the turnover is only about 13%, average only about VND76 million per day. Meanwhile, revenue under the financial plan is about VND590 million per day, “said Pham Minh Duc, director of BOT Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. – Cho Moi.

Tuan Loc – Truong Loc Joint Venture is an investor implementing BOT project to build Thai Nguyen – Cho Moi road (Bac Kan) and upgrade and expand QL3 section Km75 – Km 100 (Project) under Contract No. 46 / HD.BOT-BGTVT dated 5 September 2014 signed with the Ministry of Transport (MOT).

The project has been completed and put into operation since May 18, 1977, approved by the Ministry of Transport to collect fees from January 25, 2018 according to Document No. 656 / BGTVT-TC dated January 19, .

After 3 months of implementation from 00 minutes on January 25, 2018 to 00 minutes on 25/4/2018, the results of road service charges collected at Km72 + 930 stations of Thai Nguyen – Cho Moi road as follows , the total amount collected is VND6,687,015,000 and the total number of road toll tickets sold is 148,744 tickets (of which, 148,523 tickets, 204 tickets, 17 tickets).
