According to the Inspectorate of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transportation, the inspectorate and some related units have carried out the emission tests of some motorized vehicles are participating in traffic in the area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City. “In the past month, the inspectorate has carried out a test of truck and bus emissions but has not documented any violations,” an inspector said.

In the coming time, the delegation will check the emission status of some types of motorized vehicles which may affect the air environment in the city. From there, to rectify the situation of vehicles with polluting emissions. At the same time, contributing to improve the quality of life of the people of the city.

Specifically, for the truck will carry out the inspection at the vehicle load test station. The Inspectorate of the Department of Transport is responsible for requesting the driver to drive the truck into the area of ​​emission control by the inspectors.

After the inspection, the registrar’s forces shall announce the results of the emission standards according to regulations or violate the emission standards.

For buses, the Traffic Management Center will work with transport units to arrange bus services at the terminal points according to the plan to the location of the emission control by the inspectors.

After inspection, for vehicles that violate emission standards, the Inspectorate of Traffic and Transportation will make a written record of the violation according to the regulations because it does not meet the environmental emission standards with the fine level of 300,000- 400,000 dong.
