The use of TID aluminum glass solution for the entire 2,200 square meter space of H & M fashion store just opened at Vincom Center – Dong Khoi, Ho Chi Minh City has contributed to create the classy space of this famous fashion brand.

Contributing to the making of H & M’s first store space in Vietnam is the large oversized glass wall up to 7400mm with no division obstructing the view and no accessory fittings. The building uses 26.28mm laminated glass that exceeds the usual width of 7.4m in length and 2.4m in width. Each glass panel weighs 1.5 tons. This is the first time in the Vietnamese market that a company has successfully constructed this large-sized glass panel with very high technical requirements.

In the market, there only have works using 5meter diameter glass. The entire glass wall system does not use frames and racks, without a splint system, only held tightly by special steel at the top and bottom of the glass wall. Due to high technical requirements on level of difficulty, accuracy and safety standards, some contractors previous to TID had to refuse constructing for H & M.

The success of TID is unique, it has recorded the profession on technical design, implementation and quality control of a Vietnamese contractor.

Mr. Phan Hai Long – Director of TID in the South said that H & M store uses large-sized glass wall panels, transparent crystal glass with no bluish color to help customers see the color inside best without changing colors. These are high quality aluminum glass products with high durability, friendly to environment, minimizing the greenhouse effect. With crystal clear glass and without aluminum, H & M store provides a sense of unlimited between the interior and exteriorspace.
