Coming to implement the project of Cau Rao 2 urban area with total invesment of VND 4,600 billion


Hai Phong International Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism Center said that after conducting the bidding procedures (with international recruiting agency), investors will be selected to implement the project of Cau Rao 2 Urban Area. 

12/2017, Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee issued Decision No. 3399 / QD-UBND approving the investor.

Vingroup is one of three investors who have bought bidding documents for Cau Rao 2 urban area project (together with Tay Bac Investment Joint Stock Company and Viet Phat Real Estate Construction JSC).

However, at the closing ceremony (held on 29/11/2017), Hai Phong Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center determined that only Vingroup will submit the application in accordance with regulations. After evaluating, Hai Phong decided to choose Vingroup as the investor for Cau Rao 2 urban area.

The detailed plan of 1/500 scale of Cau Rao 2 Urban Area was approved by People’s Committee of Le Chan District in Decision No. 2960 / QD-UBND dated October 19,

According to the master plan, the project has a land use area of ​​49.76ha in Vinh Niem ward, Le Chan district with a total investment of VND 4,636 billion (the cost of implementing the project is 4,335 billion VND, the rest is compensation cost usually, clearance). The progress of the project is 5 years (first quarter 2018 – 1st quarter of 2013).

According to the chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee – Nguyen Van Tung, in the first and second quarter of 2018, the city will commence the project of upgrading and renovating the memorial site of Nguyen Duc Canh; Nam Nu bridges traffic construction project; Project on renovating and embellishing Tam Bac river bank; Ho Sen Road – Rao 2 Bridge (from the intersection of Nguyen Van Linh Street to Cho Con Road junction); project construction of three apartment buildings in Van My Ward and two apartment buildings HH1, HH2 in Dong Quoc Binh.

New construction works in the third and fourth quarter of 2018, including: Passenger Terminal 2 at Cat Bi International Airport; Tan Vu Street – Lach Huyen District 2; the next port of Hai Phong international gateway port; two apartment buildings A48 and A49 in Lan Be ward; Aeon Japan Trade Center and investment project to build 5 star hotel at 12 Tran Phu street …

In the first quarter, inaugurated the projects: Vinmec International General Hospital; Tam Bac Green Park project phase 2; upgrading and improving national highway 10; Dang and Han bridge. In the second quarter, inauguration of Bach Dang Bridge; 2 launch ports of Hai Phong international gateway. In the fourth quarter, inauguration of Hoang Van Thu bridge; The 45-storey building of the Vingroup Group in the cement town.
