Da Nang: Collection Of Land Debt Paid In Gold

On September 10, Tran Van Mien, Vice Chairman of Danang People’s Committee, said in a written notice on the policy related to the collection of resettlement land use debt (resettlement) for cases of debt land use fee (SDD).

This is the case in the 10-year debt contracted by 98% gold has been overdue for five years but has not signed contract appendix to debt in cash.

According to Mr. Mien, the People’s Committee agreed to allow people to choose two options.

Option 1, pay the debt under the contract and pay the contractual gold amount multiplied by the gold unit price at the time of debt repayment (but not less than the principal amount).

Option 2, repay the current land price.

Particularly for overdue debts which are not entitled to land clearance while waiting for the general debt recovery policy of the city, households wishing to pay SDD to grant land use right certificates shall agree to give Land Fun development center based on current land price table, multiplier coefficient to collect SDD.

Specifically: for the auxiliary household to release debt at current land prices by the coefficient of 1.2; For non-cleared households, the debt shall be repaid according to the current land prices by the coefficient of 1.4. In addition, if the amount of debt repayment is lower than the previous debt (original + interest if any), Natural Resources and Environment Department presents each case specifically.

In cases where procedures have not yet been carried out for less than five years as from the date of issuing the lot allocation cards, they shall collect them according to the old land unit prices, the time limit for carrying out the procedures and paying the land use charge for this case till the end of December 31, 2016. From January 1, 2017, the current land unit price will be collected.
