District 4 Upgrades Urban Areas To Reduce The Pressure On Infrastructure

On October 5, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has instructed the Department of Planning and Architecture to propose planning targets and plans to build a new Truc Giang apartment building in Ward 13, District 4. To renovate the urban area Hoang Dieu – North-South – Le Van Linh – Vinh Khanh.

At the same time, Nguyen Tat Thanh road will be widened to Sai Gon port. Completion of bridge design, Nguyen Khoai, Tran Dinh Xu bridge connecting District 7 to District 4 and District 1 to address traffic congestion at the bridge in District 4 as today.

A series of real estate projects under construction in District 4 will put pressure on infrastructure in the next few years.

Accordingly, Nguyen Khoai will cross the Te canal connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Saigon South with the investment of more than 1,250 billion. The project is managed by Urban Transport Management No.4, Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City.

The project has a total length of about 1,000 m. In particular, the bridge is 346 m long, 22.5 m wide. The project starts from D1 in Him Lam residential area, District 7 and ends at Ben Van Don street, District 4. The bridge is expected to be started in 2017 and completed after 18 months of construction.

Tran Dinh Xu Bridge will cross the Tau Hu canal – Ben Nghe, linking Tran Dinh Xu in District 1 to Ben Van Don Street, District 4.
