Accordingly, the projects in this list include Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway, Dau Giay – Phan Thiet expressway, Dau Giay – Da Lat expressway, Ring Road 3. At the same time, the province is continuing to work with Central to unify the policy of implementing the construction of Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway, the Metro system across Dong Nai.
For projects managed by the province, it will focus on the development of transportation infrastructure in Bien Hoa City and two districts of Nhon Trach and Long Thanh, as it has a strong impact on the overall economic growth of the province. The province will prioritize the completion of important routes such as access road to Phuoc An, Huong Lo 10, from Cam My – Long Thanh to the intersection with DT 769.
In addition, the province is preparing to start upgrading and expanding Nguyen Tri Phuong, Do Van Thi, Bui Van Hoa, Thong Nhat bridge and linking with An Hao bridge (Bien Hoa city). , the province will focus on building Phuoc An port, expanding Go Dau port, some ICD ports, logistics areas and inland waterway wharves to serve cargo rotation and stops to develop river tourism.
Dong Nai province is actively coordinating with the Ministry of Transport to accelerate the progress of the necessary legal procedures for the Ring Road 3 project to be invested quickly.
The belt road of Nhon Trach 3 – Ho Chi Minh City is over 30 km long. Phase 1 will be built from the intersection of Thu Duc district (HCMC) to 25B in the center of Nhon Trach district with a length of about 17 km. Expected in the second quarter of this year will start the first segment of 1A from the highway Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay to 25B.
Section 1A is nearly 9km long, of which 2km is located in Ho Chi Minh City, the rest is located in Nhon Trach district. The route is designed to build pavement width of more than 20m for 4 lanes motorized and 2 lanes rudimentary. Total investment is over VND 5,300 billion, including USD 190 million (equivalent to VND 4,180 billion) from EDCF and nearly VND1,150 billion of counterpart funds from Vietnam, of which VND470 billion is paid for site clearance.
At the same time, when presenting the transport system connected with Long Thanh Airport, the Department of Transport and Communication of Dong Nai province recently requested the provincial People’s Committee to approve the construction of the 25C road section from Highway 19 (Nhon Trach district) to Highway 51 and the section from Nhon Trach Industrial Zone to Ring Road 3 (Ho Chi Minh City).
According to the plan, the 25C road will have a length of 14.5 km, the first point connecting to the national highway 51 and the end point intersecting with the third ring road. More than 11 km at the end of the route has been under construction, Up to now, more than 3km of the first line connecting National Highway 51 has not been invested.
Road 25C is very important, because it goes through the industrial parks as well as the district’s urban area and extends down to Hung Vuong Street (Vinh Thanh Commune) and connects with other roads to Ho Chi Minh City.
A representative of the Provincial Construction Investment Management Board said that the first section of road 25C was being issued. This road section is 3km long and 100m wide, with a total budget of nearly VND 1,000 billion.
According to the People’s Committee of Nhon Trach district, another traffic project, Route 25B, has been completed and procedures have been completed. After completing the construction, will form the circuit through Ho Chi Minh City – Dong Nai – Binh Duong.
Recently, Dong Nai province has also worked with Ho Chi Minh City’s departments to set up and directly invite investors to participate in the development of the Cat Lai bridge project with a budget of VND 7,200 billion, linking Nhon Trach district with District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City. The province is working with a number of potential investors to discuss the investment plan, which is expected to begin construction in 2019.
