On September 5th, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province decided to revoke the project of Residential area No.1, Dien Duong Ward, Dien Ban district (phase 3) of Dat Xanh Mien Trung Joint Stock Company due to delayed implementation. The dossiers and procedures shall comply with the provisions of law.
The People’s Committee of Quang Nam province requests that Dat Xanh Mien Trung Joint Stock Company abides by the policy of terminating the operation of the project; to coordinate with the provincial/municipal Services, branches, and localities in settling arising problems (if any).
At the same time, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province assigned the People’s Committee of Dien Ban Town, the Department of Construction, the Center for Public Administration and Investment Promotion of the province, Quang Nam Investment Development Fund for being responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies or advise the provincial People’s Committee to issue a notice of termination of the relevant documents according to its competence and refund the deposit to the Company as prescribed.
The People’s Committee of Dien Bien also assigned the People’s Committee of Dien Ban town to use this land to invest in the residential area, with priority given to the households who have been cleared of greenery on DT 603A road.
Previously, the Center for Public Administration and Investment Promotion of Quang Nam province has reviewed the projects in the area and discovered that the project of Green Land in Central Vietnam was delayed, so the agency has taken Quang Nam People’s Committee to withdraw the project.
According to the previous plan, the project of Residential area No.1, Dien Duong ward (phase 3) has the area of 7.2 hectares with the name of Coco Riverside 2 with the total investment of about 71 billion. The project consists of 227 new residential lands, 22 resettlement land, villa land 23 lots with a population of about 1,100.
