According to ACV, this company will continue to prioritize all resources to invest in the construction and development of strategic airports such as Long Thanh.
The expansion and enhancement of productivity of Tan Son Nhat International Airport is considered by the Prime Minister to be very important from now to 2020.
Recently, the Prime Minister has decided to implement the expansion of Tan Son Nhat Airport as proposed to build another passenger terminal of the airport in the south.
This is a recommendation from ADPI Consulting. Under this proposal, Tan Son Nhat Airport’s passenger terminal will be built with a total floor area of 200,000 square meters, which can serve 20 million passengers a year in the south, ie the existing terminal. The total estimated capital is about VND18,000 billion.
The northern area, including the golf course and 16 hectares of land managed by the Ministry of Defense, will be used to build auxiliary facilities, such as cargo terminals, aircraft repair, logistic and prepare meal from 2025 onwards.
The prime minister said that the solution would reduce the area of land to be recovered, the distance between the stations closer, and reduce the cost and time of construction.
