According to the current regulations, the project is exempt from land use fees and land rent for the area of social housing construction within the project area.
Thu Thiem Investment Joint Stock Company is the investor and is applying for land use right certificate for the project. However, according to the Ministry of Construction, Ho Chi Minh City authorities are embarrassed to confirm the land use levy for the state-owned land area of nearly 2,300 sqm out of a total land area of over 4,000 sqm was allocated by the HCMC People’s Committee to implement the social housing project in Thao Dien Ward, District 2.
Prior to that, the social housing project in Thao Dien Ward, District 2 was allocated over 4,000 sqm of land to build the resettlement housing project. Later, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City approved the conversion from the project of resettlement housing to social housing.
