Geleximco with Chinese partners planning the two sides of the Red River

Hanoi General Export Import Joint Stock Company (Geleximco) has invited the Institute of Planning and Planning of Hangzhou City (China) to participate in research and planning 1/5000 for the Red River Delta .

The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently received a request from Geleximco for the supply of documents, documents and data to study the planning of the two sides of the Red River.

HCM City People’s Committee issued Official Letter No. 1112 / UBND-ĐT, requesting relevant departments and sectors to provide dossiers and data for study and elaboration of plans.

On February 4, Geleximco together with the Hangzhou Institute of Planning and Design conducted a field survey along the Red River. Then the two sides worked with the Department of Planning and Architecture Hanoi and the Department of Planning and Architecture Hanoi handed over documents related to the red zone planning urban area 1/5000.

On March 1, Geleximco and his partners continued to work with the Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. At the meeting, the Hangzhou Institute of Design and Planning asked for hydrological data, water flow, dike cross section, monitoring data, hydro-meteorology, etc. related document.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has guided the Company to contact with the People’s Committee of Hanoi, and sent a written opinion to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for the supply of Figures above.

Hanoi is still planning to build a city on the banks of the Red River

The Red River Delta, Vingroup and Geleximco projects are planned by the Hanoi People’s Committee. The Department of Planning and Architecture is the focal point in coordination with the Hanoi Planning and Construction Institute and related departments and units to gather all related information for research, Planning projects.

The leaders requested that the study of the planning along the Red River along the direction of ensuring flood prevention, creating a modern city, effectively exploit the land fund, create land fund, resettlement priority in space, transportation development and river cruises. In addition, the project should study the plan of the road along the river along the dyke to prevent flood.

Study planning divided into two phases. Phase one is to plan the Red River from the Thang Long Bridge to Thanh Tri. Phase 2 is the planning of the Red River on the other side of the city.
