General Director-Sagri Le Tan Hung will recalculate 188 public land plots in Binh Chanh

On May 2, Le Tan Hung, General Director of Saigon Agriculture Corporation (Sagri) said that the company currently manages 45 houses and land with a total area of ​​62,882,679 sqm.

In 62 million square meters of public land, Sagri Corporation’s office has 38 houses, land with total area of ​​3,082,710 m2; Three subsidiaries managed 59,799,969 square meters (two subsidiaries namely Bo Yo and Cuc Phuong occupy a large area), the Labor Newspaper reported.

Subsidiaries have made many land lease contracts for the households. Specifically, Bo Sui Company in Cu Chi district has signed 102 contracts, the contract expiry date from 2022 to 2038.

However, it is worth mentioning that in addition to the contract signed to implement the content, some households do not perform as the construction of breeding facilities, production workshops on the land area is contracted.

Currently, Sagri Cow Company is deserting 17 hectares of land, not put into use.

At the plant company in Binh Chanh, the company has signed 672 contracts, the contract expires from 2017 to 2029. Up to now, 188 contracts have expired, but the process of land acquisition is very more difficult. The households objected, noncooperation in land acquisition.

According to General Director of Sagri Le Tan Hung, the actual area of ​​planted land is still large, but most of the contracted out. Actual production area is very small, developing repeated crops with low effective value of trees.

The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has assigned Department of Planning and Industries to calculate the land use planning in line with the direction of agricultural land conversion through industry.

According to a survey conducted by the People’s Council of Ho Chi Minh City on the effectiveness of the management and use of land resources in the city, the focus was on the land resources directly managed and announced on  April 24, the use of public land of Sagri in Binh Chanh is not effective.
