On this morning (5/7), answered questions at the Hanoi People’s Council about the progress of investigation, handling some cases of serious construction violations.

Director of Hanoi Public’s Security, Brigadier Doan Duy Khuong said that Hanoi City Inspectorate had forwarded to the Hanoi Public’s Security to investigate and clarify signs of law violation of a number of units – typically Dien Bien Number 1 Private Enterprise chaired by Mr. Le Thanh Than.

“This unit has developed a lot of projects in ​​Hanoi, about 12 projects. Through investigation, all these projects showed signs of tax evasion and violation of regulations on housing management under Article 273 of the Criminal Code,” he said.

Also according to Mr. Khuong, the Ministry of Public Security has also received the findings of Government Inspectorate on this unit in 21 provinces nationwide, so the prosecution of the case and defendants related to this case must wait for directions from the Ministry of Public Security.

According to Mr. Khuong, if allowing Hanoi Public’s Security to prosecute the case and defendants related to the l violations in the city, next week, after consulting the opinions from leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi Public’s Security will proceed to prosecute the case and clarify the violation of individuals to prosecute defendants.

“If the Ministry of Public Security decides allow C46 (the Police Department for Economic Crime and Corruption) to prosecute violations in 21 localities, Hanoi Public’s Security will forward documents it has investigated and verified to the Ministry for settlement, ” said Mr. Khuong.
