The government to approve the policy on investing in flc do son complex

The Government’s Office has just issued written document conveying the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung on the luxury complex of services, resort and ecological villas that is planned to invest by FLC Group in Do Son District, Hai Phong City.

Pursuant to the document No. 7339/VPCP-CN of the Government’s Office, Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung herby requested the People’s Committee of Hai Phong City to study and fully collect opinions from the relevant ministries on building the high-end complex of services, vacation resorts and ecological villas in Do Son District, Hai Phong City.

At the same time, Hai Phong is assigned to organize the adjustment of general planning and construction of the complex as regulated by law.

Previously, on April 25, 2017, the Standing Committee of Party Committee of Hai Phong City has held a meeting and consent to approve the policy of implementing the project of luxurious complex of service, resort and ecological villas FLC Do Son of FLC Group.

On May 03, 2017, the People’s Committee of Hai Phong City has submitted a written to the Prime Minister, requesting to allow to supplement the encroachment area to the west of Do Son Tourism region with a scale of about 500ha into the General Construction Planning of Hai Phong City to 2025, with a vision to 2050 to invest in the construction of luxurious complex of service, resort and ecological villas.

At the same time, People’s Committee of Hai Phong City also requested the Prime Minister to agree on the policy of adding 18-hole golf course located in Do Son district to the planning of Vietnam golf course to 2020.

According to the investment plan proposed by FLC, FLC will build a complex including 4 main functional sub-zones comprising tourist service urban area, golf course area, resort area, the supporting landscape area on ​​500ha. The estimated investment capital is about 5,300 billion dong.

The project includes 1,500 seat-international conventional center, 5-star and 6-star ecological tourism resort and hotel with about 1,000 rooms, urban area, commercial housing, park, recreational areas, golf courses and supporting landscaped areas (beaches, green areas …) in the coastal area of ​​the West of Do Son tourism resort.

This resort complex is consulted and designed by Schmidt-Curley Design (the leading US consulting unit), with an aim to maximize the natural landscape area with a construction density less than 10%. Most buildings will use green architecture and renewable energy to increase sustainability in development, connect green spaces to natural space.

The project has favorable transportation position right in the center of Do Son beach resort of the North coastal region, with synchronized and modern transportation infrastructure, near international seaport and international airport- the center of international trade of the North region.

People’s Committee of Hai Phong City determined that the establishment of the complex has a deep meaning in promoting the development of the tourism industry in particular and the socio-economy of Hai Phong City in general.
