According to the circular 53/2016 / TT-BCA, starting from February 15, 2016, will make the declaration and receive information of temporary residence of foreigners. Business entities that allow foreigners to stay can refer to the foreigners’ temporary residence declaration below.

How to make a temporary residence declaration for foreigners

Circular No. 53/2016 / TT-BCA is applicable to the following cases:

+ Foreigners residing in Vietnam

+ Place where foreigners staying overnight

+ Agencies responsible for managing the residence of foreigners and related agencies, organizations and individuals.

In cases where this Circular is applied, it is possible to make temporary residence declaration for foreigners in two ways:

Option 1: Make a temporary residence declaration for foreigners via the website with hotel accommodation establishments

Option 2: Make a temporary residence for a foreigner by means of a temporary residence declaration. This is for both the tourist accommodation and other accommodation establishments.

The problems related to the declaration of information

+ The person responsible for temporary residence is responsible for confidentiality and information management. When the data is stolen, it should be immediately reported to the provincial police office of the provincial police.

+ Account declaration will self-deactivate value when no new notification information within 12 months. Or discarded upon discovery of inaccurate information about foreigners or inaccuracies.

+ Provide full information about the name, type, address, telephone number, email of accommodation,

+ Provide your name, date of birth, telephone number, people’s identity card or citizen identification card or passport to receive the declaration.

Name, sex, date of birth, nationality, number of passports or papers that may be valid for the passport, time of the foreigner’s stay.

+ In cases where a foreigner does not have a passport or substitute paper, the accommodation facility should immediately report it to the nearest police officer for inspection.

+ Declaration of temporary residence by temporary residence declaration, the person in temporary residence must contact the police of the commune, ward or township or police station to be provided with temporary residence declaration form.

Procedures for making temporary residence declaration for foreigners via the website

Step 1: Get account declaration

Provide information: name, type, address, telephone number, email of accommodation; Name, date of birth, telephone number, people’s identity card or citizen identification card or passport to receive the declaration.

Step 2: Log in and website with the account and password provided

Step 3: Enter and check information on foreigners declaration or file attached to the form posted on the website.

Step 4: Save information and verify your system information. The reception system is complete; If you have not received the response, you need to do it again.
