At the annual shareholders’ meeting in 2018 held on 28/6, Hanoi Beer – Alcohol – Beverage Corporation (Habeco) has approved development plan at Habeco in the coming time.

Specifically, Habeco will relocate the plant with hundreds of years old life at 183 Hoang Hoa Tham from the inner city. According to Hanoi’s management, according to the Hanoi’s plan, the current factory area will not be located. This location will change its use to green parks, museums …

It is known that the company will move the current brewery to Me Linh district and plans to build beer museum at 183 Hoang Hoa Tham.

Also at the meeting, the board of Habeco has submitted the shareholders dismissed 4 members for the term 2013-2017 and elect new members. Specifically, Chairman of the Board Do Xuan Ha and General Director Nguyen Hong Linh were put on the list dismissed.

Three members of the Board of Directors were elected to replace Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Deputy General Director; Mr. Ngo Que Lam, Deputy General Director, Habeco management; said Stefano Clini, Carlsberg strategic shareholder. Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors and Ngo Que Lam as General Director of Habeco.

In the year 2017, consumption of Habeco has decreased 60 million liters, equal to 75.9% compared with 2016. The proportion of beer consumption 450 ml red in the total consumption of beer brand Hanoi has decreased from 47 , 7% in 2016 to 39.6% in 2017. Consumption rate decreased in all 32 markets.

Planning for development in 2018, Habeco is expected to consume 500 million liters, of which 496.3 million liters of beer, up 3.7% over the same period and earned 811.4 billion after tax profit, increased 28% and the expected dividend rate is 20%.
