Hai Phong: The construction of two projects is nearly VND3,000 billion

On the afternoon of May 14th, the People’s Committee of Hai Phong organized the construction of the overpass of Nguyen Van Linh intersection of the Ho Sen-Rao 2 bridge project and the Tam Bac river embankment project (from Lac Long bridge to the park). Tam Bac).

The bridge over Nguyen Van Linh intersection is constructed with 288m long arch bridge, 19m wide running along Rao 2 – Ho Sen bridge, crossing the national highway 5 in Hai Phong city (Nguyen Van Linh street).

This overpass is part of the project to build Ho Sen – Rao 2 Bridge road with a total investment of more than 1400 billion dong, of which the bridge construction cost is 360 billion dong from the local budget.

According to the urban transport development plan of Hai Phong, the Ho Sen – Rao 2 bridge is the center of urban development and extends to the area surrounding the old city.

Hai Phong assessed the overpass of Nguyen Van Linh intersection in particular and the project of Ho Sen – Rao 2 road axis will be built will contribute to build a transport axis connecting the city center with Highway 5, The main gate connecting Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway and coastal highway is under construction.

The Sen Bridge – Rao 2 bridge will be completed in 2020, which will solve the urgent problem of urban transport for Hai Phong and enhance the capacity of cargo transportation at seaports, contributing to the economic development of the commune. At the same time, it helps reduce the heavy traffic load of Cau Dat – Lach Tray.

The TamBac embellishment project is invested by the People’s Committee of Hong Bang district, with a total investment of more than VND 1400 billion (budget capital), scale of more than 25ha with dredging works of 63m deep river more than 2m, concrete embankment on two banks, renovation of summer, roads along the river.

This community-based welfare project will be completed in 2018, contributing to the expansion of the central urban space that connects the city center strip to create a distinctive feature of Hai Phong.
