Hanoi: Firing Golden Westlake apartment on Hoang Hoa Tham street

Smoke at the Golden Westlake 162A Hoang Hoa Tham (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi), causing a lot of panic.

At about 14h this afternoon (December 25), black smoke column emerged from a 25 storey apartment building on Hoang Hoa Tham, Hanoi.

According to preliminary information, a fire broke out in the apartment’s 21st floor penhouse, the dense smoke in the building made many people on the upper floors dare not run down the stairs and are trapped above.

Immediately after hearing the fire, the building management cut off electricity.

The fire broke out on the 21st floor of the Golden Westlake apartment.

About 14h20 minutes, the task force was also present at the scene, mobilizing 8 fire engines and 3 rescue vehicles, a ladder was also used to bring the victims to the ground.

This is a high-class apartment project owned by Ha Viet Tung Shing (Tung Shing Group) as an investor.

Many people gathered under the gates to watch the fire.

The apartment has two entrances, one at Hoang Hoa Tham Street and one at 151 Thuy Khue Street, Thuy Khue Ward, Tay Ho District.

The fire police are still fire trucks to the scene, while blocking the entrance to focus fire.
