City People’s Committee Hanoi requested the Prime Minister to consider and direct the implementation of the project of building the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh District.
According to the People’s Committee, in order to prepare for the implementation of the National Exhibition Fair Center project with the size of over 90ha, Dong Anh District People’s Committee has completed the work of land acquisition and site clearance. However, local authorities have not been able to hand over the ground to investors because the project has not yet been approved. Therefore, City People’s Committee requested the Prime Minister to consider and direct the implementation of the project.

According to the plan, the new National Exhibition Center will be built as an “exhibition city” in the future, with a combination of functional works in sync.
On the area of 90ha, there will be works such as indoor and outdoor exhibition area; trade promotion centers; the convention center and other supporting areas such as 5-star-and- 52-storey hotel, commercial center …, with the main image lotus flower building.
In addition to the core area, the project also includes green spaces, water areas, parks and urban areas, forming a complete community that fosters connections and exchanges for “city exhibition”.
The project is located at the intersection of three communes Xuan Canh, Mai Lam, Dong Hoi (Dong Anh), 15km north of Hanoi. This is one of ten priority investment projects under the Capital Region Master Plan. The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2018.
