(+84) 898 898 688Accordingly, as of July 31, 14 out of 79 high rise apartment buildings violating the regulations on fire prevention and fighting has overcome the violations.
Of which, 13 high-rise apartments were accepted on fire prevention and fighting; The N02-T3 building at the Diplomatic delegation area in Bac Tu Liem District has been terminated putting into operation when not accepted on fire prevention.
Thus, in addition to 14 works overcoming the violations, the city now has 65 high-rise apartment buildings violate the regulations on fire prevention in construction investment, in which 61 works have been approved but have not been accepted for fire prevention and fighting have been put into operation; 3 projects have not been approved, accepted on fire prevention and fighting have been put into operation; 1 work has been constructed but has not yet been approved on fire prevention design.
With the above 65 works, Hanoi Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department will coordinate with related units to inspect and urge the remedy of violations, commitments of investors and implement measures as directed by city authority.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Van Suu, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee said that the city would release conclusive notice about 79 apartment buildings violating fire prevention regulation announced by the above department in late May 2017. In particular, the city competent authority will handle thoroughly 1-3 works with a series of strong measures such as suspension, coercion, not grand land for new projects … if failing to remedy violation.

The leaders of Hanoi affirmed that for the works under construction not put into use, City People’s Committee will issue written documents requesting the related units not to supply electricity, water. Those units who deliberately supply water, electricity, its head of unit will be criminally punished.
