According to city leaders, to design an underground parking lot takes 2 years; Large investment projects, such as the underground parking lot at Quan Ngua Sports Palace, amount to VND2,700 billion, a long payback period (30-35 years).

Beside the parking lot in Quan Ngua, Hanoi is cooperating with investors to investigate and investigate other places in the inner city to build parking lots such as the Viet Xo Friendship Palace. The entrance of Thong Nhat Park, in front of the Opera House.

“In addition, a corporation has also studied the construction of underground parking near the park with a capacity of 1400 cars, 2,000 motorcycles,” Nguyen Duc Chung said.
