HCM has 35 more projects converted from 2,000ha of paddy land

People’s Council of Ho Chi Minh City HCM has approved the list of 35 projects requiring land recovery, the project has changed the purpose of land use of rice in the city.

As approved by the City People’s Council, there are 31 projects changing the land use purpose from 10ha of rice land upwards with total area of ​​1,893 ha,  3 projects with less than 10ha of rice land with a total area of ​​9.36ha and 1 project with a land acquisition area of ​​22.8ha.

HCM has 35 more projects converted from 2,000ha of paddy land

Typical examples are the Hiep Phuoc downstream project in Hiep Phuoc Commune, Nha Be District owned by Tan Thuan Industrial Development One Member Limited Company (IPC), with an area of ​​384.71ha 268.13ha of rice land.

Binh Quoi – Thanh Da urban area in Ward 28, Binh Thanh District is selecting the investor, covering an area of ​​426.93ha, of which 167.85ha of rice land.

Thanh My Loi residential area in Thanh My Loi ward, District 2, invested by Thanh My Loi Joint Stock Company, with an area of ​​136.01 ha, of which 84.59 ha of rice land.

Hoan Cau Residential Area in Tan Thong Hoi Commune, Cu Chi District, is choosing the investor, with an area of ​​67ha, of which 48ha of paddy land.

Bac Phuoc Kien residential area in Phuoc Kien Commune, Nha Be District is invested by Quoc Cuong Gia Lai Joint Stock Company, with an area of ​​91.69ha, of which 60.3ha of paddy land.

Compensation and land clearance project in Phuoc Loc commune to pay for BT contract for Can Gio bridge in Nhon Duc commune and Phuoc Loc commune, Nha Be district. The land area is 89.61ha, of which 44ha of rice land.
