Construction Department of Ho Chi Minh City must inspect and assess the business status and quality of sand as construction materials to ensure the quality of the works.
On October 21, HCM City People’s Committee signed a directive to direct the Department of Construction to inspect the quality of sand in Ho Chi Minh City. This is to assess the business situation, product quality of sand – the type of building materials likely to cause unsafety in the market.
HCMC Department of Transportation was assigned to direct the Inland Waterway Port Authority to strengthen the inspection, control and handling of violations of regulations on environmental protection in inland waters and inland waterways.

The HCM City Market Control Department should strengthen inspection and control to detect and prevent acts of mixing that reduce the quality or sale of unspecified sand in the area of Ho Chi Minh City.
District People’s Committees must strengthen the management of the area, capture information on the situation of production, business and use of construction materials. At the same time, to inspect and handle violations of the observance of law provisions on the use of construction sand it works.
