Real estate was followed by retail, auto and motorbike repairing 15.6% with registered capital of $3.25 billion, up 57.8% against the same period last year; construction sector with registered capital of $2.55 billion, accounting for 12.3%, up 83% over the same period; science, technology, consulting services, design, advertising and other professionals with registered capital $1,5 billion, accounting for 7.1%, doubling over the same period.

According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City, of the 33,839 enterprises newly licensed, the one-member limited liability company accounted for the highest proportion (58.6%) with 19,835 enterprises.
Next, the type of limited liability company with two or more members accounted for 28% with 9,483 enterprises; The joint stock company has 4,055 enterprises, accounting for 12%; Private enterprises have 463 enterprises, accounting for 1.4%; There are 3 companies, accounting for 0.01%.
At the same time, HCMC has continued to support and encourage individual business households to transform into enterprises. Up to now, 1,629 business households have been transformed into enterprises, of which the number of business households has changed to the most concentrated ones in districts such as Thu Duc, Binh Thanh and Binh Chanh.
