Ho Chi Minh City Adjust The Master Plan Of The Northwest Urban Area

The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee recently assigned the Tay Bac Urban Construction Investment Management Board to adjust the master plan of the Northwest Urban Zone and prepare the bidding for selecting the consultancy unit.

Accordingly, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City approved the local adjustment of the planning scheme of 1 / 2.000 zoning in the Northwest urban area in order to create conditions for people to stabilize life, at the same time, to ensure planning orientation to renovate and improve existing residential areas in harmony with the new urban development.

At the same time, the Planning Information Center will continue to study the planning tasks and plans of 1 / 5,000 scale subdivision of Northwest Urban Area, coordinate with related departments and agencies to prepare documents for local adjustment of 1 / 2,000-zone subdivision planning projects. In addition, research to develop regulations on management of land for construction and management within the existing residential embellishment.

In addition, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment was assigned to coordinate with the Department of Construction to continue to advise on land and construction policies and mechanisms, ensuring adequate benefits for residents in existing residential areas, renovations and other areas while awaiting implementation of   Northwest urban planning.

The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has instructed the Investment Management Board to build the Northwest Urban Area in coordination with the relevant agencies to adjust the zoning plan of 1/5.000 scale Northwest Urban Area, to integrate the harmonious development of modern urban space between the planning of new urban functional areas (4.500hectares) and the planning of renovating the existing residential area (1.600hectares).

For the project of Cu Chi golf course, Cu Chi District People’s Committee and Tay Bac Urban Area Investment Management Board, It is necessary to settle the backlog of compensation for ground clearance (6,4hectares) to hand over the project site to investors.
