HCMC People’s Committee has issued a decision approving the partial adjustment of the zoning plan of 1/2000 scale of observation tower complex in Thu Thiem New Urban Area, District 2.
Specifically, the total area of the planned area is about 145,617m2, which is high-density complex to develop commercial buildings, services, restaurants, hotels, offices and apartments.
Accordingly, the observation tower complex in the functional area No. 2b, Thu Thiem Ward, District 2. And there is the southeastern road linking Thu Thiem Bridge 3 at R13 and Entertainment Complex.

In the northeast, it borders on the central lake, greenery in the southern delta. In the South West, it borders on river banks and Sai Gon River Park. In the Northwest, it borders on the Saigon River tunnel and Mai Chi Tho street.
Regarding the organization of space, architecture and landscapes, Observation Tower is the most prominent building for the planning area and the whole Thu Thiem new urban area with the height of 86 floors. The main view of the observation tower is from the Saigon River and the center of District 1.

Prior to that, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also approved the proposal of the Department of Finance to adjust the decision on approving the land use right at observation tower complex.
At the same time, additional works of four bridges connecting North Residential and North-South axis with other functional areas in Thu Thiem New Urban Area, including bridges 6, 9, 12 and N4.
About the project of the complex of Viet Viet in functional area No. 1, HCMC People’s Committee approved Thu Thiem new urban area’s proposal, comments of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the policy of temporary evaluation of value The right to use plots of land 1 – 13, 1 – 14, 1 – 16 and 1 – 17 based on the 1/500 detailed planning tasks approved by competent authorities.
