Ho Chi Minh City Assigned Three Companies To Make Ring Road 2

Joint venture company Phat Dat – Investment and Infrastructure Development 620 – Construction Investment 168 establish a project to build Ring Road 2 in the form of public-private partnership.

On November 21, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City approved the proposal of the Department of Planning and Investment to jointly launch Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company – Infrastructure Investment and Development Joint Stock Company 620 – Construction Investment and Development Joint Stock Company 168 establishes a project to build Ring Road 2, from National Highway 1 to Nguyen Van Linh in the form of public-private partnership.

This project is from the An Lap intersection, National Highway 1A to Nguyen Van Linh street with a total length of about 5.3 km and width of 60 m.The Ring Road 2 is divided into 4 projects. Before that, HCM has built a ramp from Pham Van Dong to Go Dua intersection, National Highway 1 nearly 3km long.

The remaining three projects of the Ring Road 2 will connect with the Rach Chiec Bridge on the East Ring to the Hanoi Highway and the Binh Thai Interchange with a total length of 3,820m and a width of 67m.

The cross-section is the 5m sidewalk, 10.5m pavement, 15m motor lanes, 2m median strip between… Binh Thai traffic junction will be constructed in the form of an intersection of different levels. In addition, the project also includes the construction of the Duong bridge, which measures 171.3m in length and 19m in width.

The second project of Ring Road 2 has not yet been constructed. It is the connecting section from Binh Thai intersection to Pham Van Dong road, with a total length of 1,988.5m and width of 67m. The project also includes Rach Ngang Bridge with the length of 74.42m, 24m width.

The third project is a junction from the An Lap intersection to Nguyen Van Linh road with a total length of about 5.3 km and a width of 60 m. This project has been jointly developed by Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company – Infrastructure Investment and Development Joint Stock Company 620 – Construction Investment Development Joint Stock Company 168 to develop the project.

Ring Road 2 is of great importance to Ho Chi Minh City’s traffic. When completing this route, Ho Chi Minh City will have favorable conditions to connect with the National Highway 1, National Highway 1K, Highway 13, Highway 22, Highway 50 and the highway Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong, Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh – Dau Giay, Ben Luc – Long Thanh …

The interconnected traffic network of Ring Road 2 will help HCM City connect rapidly with localities in the southern key economic region. According to the planning of Ho Chi Minh City, Vanh Dai 2 road will have a total length of 70km. The first point comes from Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard passing Phu My Bridge of District 1 connecting to the East Ring Road of Ho Chi Minh City at the Binh Thai crossroad of Ha Noi Highway.

Then go to the crossroads of Go Dua and connect to Highway 1. When going through the Tan Tao intersection, follow Ho Hoc Lam and Ba To to return to Nguyen Van Linh to form a circle around the belt. the inner city of HCMC.

However, there are still some segments of the Ring Road No 2 that have not yet been built, so the entire route has not been able to operate smoothly.
