Ho Chi Minh City has just approved the planning task to organize the selection of the zoning plan of 1/2000 ratio of Rach Chiec National Sport Complex with the research area of ​​212 hectares.

The scope of this zoning plan is 212 hectares, including the exhibition area for export of Vietnam – the sport and physical training service area of ​​about 5 hectares (at the existing golf course) and zone 1 training center, sports and physical training services area of ​​about 26.12 ha) under the Saigon Sports City project.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee approved the position, limited the area of ​​Rach Chiec Sports Complex with an area of ​​about 180 hectares.

This complex is located in the center of East HCMC, at the intersection of Mai Chi Tho – Ha Noi Highway, one side adjacent to the highway to Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay. In 10/2017, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City approved the list of land use projects for the project of bicycle racing platform and the motorbike raceway combined with outdoor football field and the project of Thai Son Sport Center Nam in Rach Chiec National Sports Complex. The cost of compensation, ground clearance, resettlement assistance for these sub-projects is about VND 1,090 billion.

In particular, the project of bicycle racing field and the motorbike racing field combined with an outdoor football field has an area of ​​about 99,920 m2.
