Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has just approved the proposal to dredge two sections of the Mon canal- Kinh river and Ba Da – Giang canal in District 9 and construct the Cay Me bridge on Long Thuan street and Dinh bridge on Long Thuan road following BT Contract

The project aims to link the waterway network (linking Tac River and Dong Nai River) to increase the capacity of waterway transportation, reduce the pressure on the overloaded road system in the North East of Vietnam, create a chance for the development of two river banks, increase drainage area and improve the environment.

Transportation infrastructure in the East

This project has a total investment of 868 billion VND, the construction of the project is from 2017 to 2019.

At the same time, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also recommended the Ministry of Construction to approve for the Corporation Housing Investment and Urban Development investing residential technical infrastructure projects at No. 6 residential area in Hiep Binh Phuoc park, Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc District.

With the land area of 267,463 sm, the land will be completely constructed technical infrastructure, ensuring the synchronous connection of technical infrastructure system between the project and the area. The total capital investment of this project is more than 2,000 billion VND.
