Leader Of C.T Group: “SS1 Project Will Help Reduce The Pressure Of Traffic At The Gateway Tan Son Nhat Airport”

As we have already reported, the Ministry of Defense has suspended projects surrounding Tan Son Nhat Airport, including the Space Ship One (SS1) project, which is affiliated with GASCo and CT Land of CT Group deploying in the area around Tan Son Nhat Airport on the land area of 8ha.

The project includes passenger waiting areas, check-in areas, convention centers, shopping centers, services, food court systems, entertainment systems, accommodation for transit passengers, rehabilitation zone, logistics area. In addition, the SS1 project also has a 70,000 square meter underground car park for guests to park their car and take the bus to the airport.

Le Thi Mai Tam – Vice Director of CT Group’s Foreign Relations Department said: “SS1 project is owned by CT Land Joint Stock Company (CT Land) – one of 36 companies. CT Group is the owner. Currently, the investor is “doing the right law and development orientation in order to reduce the pressure to enter the airport from Truong Son as existing”.

“We were handed over the land on September 16^th, 2016, the project was approved by the Minister of Defense and the Air Defense Commander, the project was implemented quickly according to the planning by the Military The Air Force does not approve”, added Mai Tam.

About SS1 Air Services Complex, Ms. Mai Tam said that after completion, SS1 will be the effective solution to help reduce the pressure of the airport quickly by contributing to the stretch the traffic at the gateway to the airport from Truong Son Road.

On the other hand, when Ben Thanh – Tham Luong metro line 2 has been developed, located in front of S9 station of this metro, SS1 also received the unity of related parties about the tunnel scheme. From the subway station go through Truong Chinh Street to connect to the project, take guests to the airport from the S9 Metro station to the internal road to the airport or vice versa.
