The document also proposed the Vietnam Expressway Development and Investment Corporation to study the implementation of solutions connecting other points with the traffic system in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the decision approving the project, Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway will connect with HCMC’s urban traffic system at Mai Chi Tho, Ring Road 2, Ring Road 3.

In the first phase, this highway was connected to Mai Chi Tho, Ring Road 2 and only toll stations in Long Phuoc Ward, not connected to the road system in District 9.
