Making the plan to build Nui Coc lake national tourism

Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has just agreed to allow the Ministry of Construction to make a national master plan for Nui Coc Lake National tourism in Thai Nguyen province by 2025, with a vision to 2030.

On July 19, the Office of the Government said that the Prime Minister had approved the Master Plan for developing Nui Coc Lake National Tourism until 2025, with a vision to 2035. This is one of the steps to concretize the tourism development strategy of Vietnam up to 2020, with a vision to 2030, in which orienting Thai Nguyen to be one of the key tourist development spots in the midland and mountainous areas of the North in particular and the whole nation in general.

According to the plan, the area of ​​the core zone to develop into a national tourism of Nui Coc lake is 1,200 ha. The planning area covers the whole of Nui Coc Lake and surrounding areas of Thai Nguyen City, Pho Yen Town and Dai Tu District.

With an objective that by 2025, Nui Coc Lake national tourism will meet the criteria and be recognized as national tourism; By 2030, it will become a major national ecotourism and resort center with modern and synchronous facilities; diverse and high quality tourism products attached to Thai Nguyen tea culture brand and competitive with other countries in the region.
