Ms. Do Thu Hang, Deputy Director of Hanoi Savills Research Department said that many opportunities are opening up for this segment.

According to Ms. Do Thu Hang, the famous tourist areas in the northern provinces such as Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Lao Cai and Vinh Phuc are becoming more vibrant as transport infrastructure is improving strongly.

Specifically, the Ha Noi – Hai Phong Expressway will be officially opened by the end of 2015, the second phase of Cat Bi Airport project will be completed and put into operation by the end of the first quarter of 2017, Lach Huyen Port is expected to be completed by 2019, Tan Vu – Lach Huyen overpass is expected to be inaugurated and put into operation in May 2017, Bach Dang bridge is expected to be completed and opened on June 30th, Haiphong – Ha Long Expressway can access the entire route in 2017.

In 2017, it is planned to inaugurate the passenger wharf and electric-car route to take passengers from Cat Hai to Cat Ba Island and travel on the island. Lao Cai also recorded 4- and 5-star hotel market is approximately 70%, in which four-star hotels in Sa Pa had the average rental price higher than hotels in the same segment in other areas.
