Metro train No. 3 Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station: 80% of people evaluate ‘beautiful, harmonious’design

More than 80% of people assess the design of the tram line of the third metro line Nhon – Hanoi beautiful, harmonious and suitable to the urban landscape of Hanoi, according to a survey by the Hanoi Railway Management Board .

Accordingly, the survey was conducted both online and in-person. More than 1000 randomly chosen people participated in the direct survey to contribute their opinions on the interior and exterior design of the metro 3 trains. live and work nearly 8 stations on the metro line number 3 Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station from students, students, civil servants to the elderly (ages 18 to 60), distributed evenly by gender calculated.

80% of people evaluate ‘beautiful, harmonious’design

Results from the survey show that more than 80% of respondents rated the train as beautiful and harmonious, and more than 90% said they were ready to use when the metro went into operation.

In addition, the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board conducts public opinion surveys on websites, newspapers and social networks.

According to the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board, it is expected that the tramway number 3 of the Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station will be commercially exploited ahead of the 8km high trek in early 2021, starting from Nhon to S8 (Cau Giay) and the remaining 4.5 km underground will be exploited by the end of 2022.

Consultancy project is consulting company Systra (France). The investment objective is to build an urban railway in line with the transport development plan of Hanoi capital up to 2020 approved by the Prime Minister.

Urban railways run on the dedicated route with a total length of 12.5km, of which the elevation section is 8.5km from Nhon to Thu Le and the underground section is 4km from Thu Le to Hanoi station. Twin railway, size 1,435m, total 12 stations (8 elevated stations, 4 underground stations).

The commercial speed is 33.8km / h. Depot and maintenance center located in Tay Tuu and Minh Khai communes. There are Nhon – Cau Dien – Mai Dich stations – Interchange with ring road 3 – Cau Giay – Kim Ma – Cat Linh – Quoc Tu Giam – Hanoi railway station (the last point on Tran Hung Dao street, before Hanoi railway station) .

The project has a total investment of more than 20,408 billion. Funds include: French ODA loan of 360 million euros (of which preferential loans of the French Government 250 million euros), loan from the French Development Agency (AFD) 110 million euros; Asian Development Bank (ADB) 293 million euros; European Investment Bank (EIB) 73 million euros and Vietnam budget 130 million dollars.
