More Than VND 1,000 Billion To Expand Provincial Highway 9 In Sai Gon

The investor is the joint venture company Fecon – Real estate R.C – Construction Coteccons – Building BMT. Construction time is 2 years with a total investment of more than VND1,000 billion.

HCM City People’s Committee has approved the proposal of upgrading and expanding the provincial road No.9, from Rach Tra bridge to Provincial road No.8 in Cu Chi district in the form of PPP.

Accordingly, the project area is located on the existing Provincial Road 9. The intersection with Provincial Road 8 at Phu Cuong Bridge and the endpoint connecting with the bridge Rach Tra of Cu Chi District. The total length of the project is about 5.76 km and land use is equivalent to 17.28 ha.

The project of expanding the provincial road No. 9 is a grade 2 project with the design speed of 60km / h, the load capacity of 100kN (10 tons).

Other items along Provincial Road 9 such as sidewalks, lighting, trees, drainage, traffic safety, technical trenches … will be designed in sync. For the bridge will be upgraded, expand the existing bridge in accordance with the road cross section B = 30m.

The proposed unit is the joint venture of Fecon Corporation – Real Estate Development and Ration Corporation. – Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company – BMT Investment Construction Joint Stock Company. Estimated construction progress of the project lasts two years with a total investment of more than VND1,000 billion. The project will be started in 2017.

According to the HCM City People’s Committee, the project will help Ho Chi Minh City to improve its transport system in accordance with the approved plan, contributing to the socio-economic development.
