New guidelines on land parcel separation in Ho Chi Minh City

For new traffic roads connected with alleys and roads planned with a road limit of 7 m or less, newly-built roads shall not be smaller than the approved plannings. Where the alley road has a road width of more than 7 m and less than 12 m, then the new traffic road shall not be smaller than 7 m.

For areas without alley road planning, the new road widths must comply with Decision No. 88/2007 of the City People’s Committee stipulating the road and road management in existing residential areas.

Responsibilities of land users:
