Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway: invested more than VND4 billion to build 6 lanes

Ho Chi Minh Road Management Board has submitted to the Ministry of Communications and Transport for appraisal and approval of the Feasibility Study Report for the construction of the Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway, Khanh Hoa Province.

Accordingly, the high speed section of Nha Trang – Cam Lam has a length of 29 km, passing through two districts of Dien Khanh and Cam Lam, Khanh Hoa province, which is built on a scale of 6 lanes (complete stage). Phase I is 4 lanes, 17m wide, designed speed 120 km / h.

On the route, there will be two interchanges connecting Dien Khanh (Km5 + 783) and Suoi Dau intersection (connecting with National Road No. 1, Provincial Road No. 3).

Invested more than VND 4 billion to build high speed Nha Trang – Cam Lam

The project is expected to start in 2019 and will be completed by 2021.

The total investment capital of the project is VND 4,059 billion, of which the state budget is VND 3,219 billion and the investment capital is VND 774.5 billion. With the construction cost of about VND2,203 billion, the average investment rate of the project is about VND 76 billion / km.

At the suggestion of the consultancy company, Truong Son Consultant Joint Stock Company and Traffic Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company No. 8, the first point at Km0 + 700 / DDT2. It is also the end point (as planned) of North-East expressway, Quy Nhon – Nha Trang section, Dien Tho commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.

The last point at Km29, coincides with the beginning point Cam Lam – Vinh Hao, Cam Hiep Bac commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province.

With a service price of VND1,500 / km / PCU, the investor can pay back within 23.8 years.

Previously, the Ministry of Transport has announced a list of projects to build a number of expressways on the highway north-south east 2017-2020. Accordingly, eight projects are invested by Public Private Partnerships (PPP), a type of BOT contract with total investment estimated at VND 104,079 billion (state investment VND40,362 billion).

8 investment projects for construction of highways: – Mai Son – National Highway 45; section of Highway 45 – Nghi Son; Nghi Son section – Dien Chau; section of Dau Chau – Bai Vot; Nha Trang – Cam Lam; Cam Lam – Vinh Hao section; Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet section and Phan Thiet – Dau Giay section.

Each North-South high-speed project has a total capital of from VND5 to 10billion, calculating the capital of investors in each project about VND1 – 2 billion.
