Novaland Shares Down By VND1,000

On the second day of listing, Novaland shares fell 1.8%, equivalent to 1,000 compared with the first day.

In the morning session of Nov 29th, Novaland Group NVL had fluctuations. Accordingly, NVL increased slightly by 1.3%, equivalent to 800 dongs per share in the second session on HOSE.

After that, foreigners were net sellers with more than 150,000 shares, so NVL fell 1.67% or VND1,000 / share. At present, NVL is trading around VND 59,000 / share.

Reference price when listed on the HOSE on 28-12 is VND 50,000 / share but NVL has raised the ceiling price to VND 61,500 / share. The lowest level was VND 57,900 / share.

Novaland NVL’s stock is about VND10,000 higher than the VIC of Vingroup

As such, Novaland shares are in second place on the list of more than 100 listed real estate companies. For example, VIC’s VIC shares are trading at VND41,850 per share, DXG of Dat Xanh Group is trading at VND12,100 per share, KDH of Khang Dien is VND20,000 per share, FLC of FLC 5340 VND / share …

Top stocks are ROS of FLC Faros Construction JSC with 113,400 dongs per share. However, the market capitalization of ROS still lost to VIC and stood at VND48,762 billion.

The trading volume was 1,592,650 shares, the market capitalization of Novaland was VND 34,773 billion, higher than VND 5,000 billion compared to the initial listing.

The Group has planned and prepared for the listing with the mobilization activities in the past two years. In terms of business activities, the accumulated net revenue in the first 9 months of 2016 was about VND7.176 trillion, after tax profit of VND1.561 trillion.

Novaland’s stock ranks second in the list of over 100 listed real estate companies.

In 2017, Novaland expects revenue of VND17,528 billion and the net profit of VND3,144 billion thanks to the handover of seven projects sold in 2014 and 2015.

Regarding shareholders structure, according to the prospectus for 2016, Novaland’s current major shareholders include Nova Group JSC, accounting for over 25%, Diamond Properties Joint Stock Company holding 13.6%, Chairman of the Board Novaland Bui Thanh Nhon is 21%, Cao Nhat Quan – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors cum Deputy General Director is holding more than 31 million shares, equivalent to 5.26% of capital.
