Opened officially the second tunnel of the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien metro line

On October 31, 1977, the first metro tunnel (East tunnel) of the metro line 1 arrived one month early. This tunnel goes from Ba Son Station through Ton Duc Thang Street, Ngo Van Nam Street, 3A Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Sieu, Hai Ba Trung Street, between the Opera House and Caravelle Hotel, across Dong Khoi Street to the Opera House.
