Vietnam Association of Management and maintenance of building has had a meeting with representatives of Aeon Delight (Vietnam) – Asset Management Company of Japan Aeon Group in Vietnam to discuss and seek collaborative opportunities to improve the quality of building management and maintenance in Vietnam.

Share about the current state of building management in Vietnam, Nguyen Quoc Hiep, Chairman of the Vietnam Building Management and Maintenance Association (VBMA), said that in the past 15 years, the number of houses and the number of people living in apartment buildings in Vietnam’s urban areas has grown rapidly, exponentially. The problems arise between residents living in the building with the owner, between the general regulations such as fire protection or maintenance work increasingly arise complexly. Meanwhile, the improvement of the quality of building management and maintenance also faces many challenges because the people still insist on the problem about cost. That is why the VBMA was established, as represented by an organization of issues that businesses and agencies involved in the industry encounter and recommend solutions to problems with agencies state management agencies.

According to Mr.Takayuki Isogai’s judgment, CEO of Aeon Delight (Vietnam), who has spent seven years living in Vietnam, it seems that in Vietnam, only the budget is for constructing the building. As the number of high-rise buildings in Vietnam is growing hot, there are legal activities, professional social organizations to evaluate the management of these actions, then periodic inspections based on criteria: equipment systems, fire protection, environmental monitoring, operation management, human resources … are extremely important.

“If these tasks are accomplished, building management, in general, will become more professional, safe and effective. We also hope to receive the support and cooperation of Aeon Delight Vietnam in areas such as personal training, sharing of building management experience to help Vietnam’s building management industry actually come in orbit, becoming more professional and more methodical” Mr. Hung added.
