Preparing To Build Hoa Binh – Son La Expressway Total Investment Of More than $2 Billion?

According to the total investment capital estimate; Total estimated investment of Hoa Binh – Son La expressway is about $ 2.185.652.000, in which the Hoa Binh – Moc Chau section is about $ 1.086.956.500; Moc Chau – Son La section is about $ 1,098,695,650.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has agreed to add the Hoa Binh – Son La route to the development of Vietnam’s expressway network up to 2020 with a vision to 2030 as proposed by the Ministry of Transport and the opinions of the relevant ministries.

The Prime Minister asked the People’s Committees of Hoa Binh and Son La provinces to announce the addition of the route planning to their local area and to plan and manage the land fund for the route as required.

The Prime Minister has also authorized Son La People’s Committee as the competent state agency to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with Hoa Binh People’s Committee and concerned agencies in, preparing investment projects on Hoa Binh – Moc Chau in the form of public-private partnership to assess the feasibility, mobilize resources for project investment; Organize the appraisal and submission in accordance with current regulations.

A section of Highway 6 through Moc Chau, Son La

It is known that the highway Hoa Binh – Son La has a connection point with the project of Hoa Binh 4 bridge, located in Trung Minh commune, Ky Son district, Hoa Binh province. The highway endpoint connects Le Duc Tho Street, Chieng Sinh Commune, Son La City.

The above scope will connect Son La city with Hoa Binh city, linking two national tourist areas in the area, creating a high-speed highway along the Northwest with Ha Noi capital.

When Hoa Binh – Son La expressway is established, Son La province will connect with Son La province’s external transportation network and Hoa Binh – Hoa Binh expressway, create a high-speed axis linking the Northwest with the northern key economic region, linking to the northeastern border crossing and Lach Huyen international seaport; offloading for the national highway 6 Hoa Binh – Son La.
